Future Institute of Australia case study with client

Summary

The City of Bayswater required assistance to re-define an induction for one of their depots. The induction covered all of the safety elements, however, the information was compiled into a PowerPoint presentation.  This presented a range of challenges including:

  1. Inconsistency with regards to who was delivering and interpreting the training within the PowerPoint.
  2. It was difficult to confirm if the participant had understood the training.
  3. The record keeping system tracking WHS safety training was manual and very time consuming.
  4. The setting up and delivery of the PowerPoint Presentation was tying up important resources each session.

The City of Bayswater engaged Future Institute to transform a 40 page PowerPoint presentation into an interactive eLearning module with review questions and assessments. The finished product was to be supplied to the City of Bayswater as a SCORM file upon completion.
