Resilience is the ability to respond effectively and positively to an unpredictable environment or situation. Resilient leaders understand that when faced with difficulties, it’s important to take action to move forward.
Course Overview
This course is tailored for individuals who are directly responsible for guiding teams through challenges and changes. Equipping leaders with resilience skills benefits not only themselves personally but also their teams and the organisation as a whole. It enables them to adapt quickly, stay focused in times of change, and look at challenges from new perspectives.
In today’s ever-changing business environment, achieving meaningful success requires leaders to have the resilience necessary to overcome obstacles and thrive. This course provides practical strategies and tools to help leaders develop and strengthen their resilience, empowering them to lead effectively through uncertainty and change.
Duration and Delivery
This course offers two options:
- a full-day (8 hours)
- a half-day (4 hours)
Both options are available either as face-to-face sessions for up to 18 participants or as virtual sessions for up to 9 participants.
Course Customisation
To ensure our training meets the specific needs of your organisation, our Instructional Design Team will facilitate a virtual meeting to customise and contextualise the content and activities in line with your workplace procedures and practices, and develop suitable activities, scenarios, and workplace application strategies to ensure meaningful outcomes.

Optional Extras
We recommend an eLearning module is completed by the participants prior to the workshop. This pre-learning will provide the underpinning knowledge for the theorists and reflectors and allow the session to be more practical and application based (additional $59 pp).

- Understand the concept of resilience and its role in coping with adversity and challenges
- Recognise the Circles of Control, influence and concern
- Develop your emotional areas of improvement by understanding the 5 Dimensions of Emotional Intelligence
- Understand your stress indicators and Stress Bell Curve
- Understand and develop strategies to control your emotional triggers
- Review the 5 C’s of Resilience – Control, Commitment, Challenge, Connections, Confidence and the 10 Factors of Resilience
- Identify personal strengths and resources that contribute to resilience
- Employ strategies to manage stress, setbacks, and change effectively
- Cultivate a growth mindset to view challenges as opportunities for learning and development
Each participant will take away an action plan to assist in the application of their new knowledge.
