Step 1: Analyse

Set up an obligation-free meeting with one of our experts to discuss your elearning needs. During this discussion, we will:

  • Explore your current training challenges and goals

  • Clarify the scope, audience, and desired learning outcomes

  • Discuss delivery preferences, assessment strategies, and learning experience design

  • Review any existing training materials you’re ready to share (e.g. PPTs, manuals, videos, guides, etc.)

  • Collect any available branding elements, logos or style guidelines

After the meeting, our team will analyse the information provided and prepare a tailored proposal or quotation based on your specific eLearning requirements.

Step 2: Design

Once the proposal is approved. It’s time to start shaping your content into an engaging and structured eLearning experience. Based on the existing format and readiness of your materials, we may:

  • Provide feedback and recommendations on your existing training content

  • Help guide the format and flow of your content for digital learning

  • Create a storyboard, or provide recommendations on your existing storyboard

  • Recommend interactive elements (such as quizzes, scenarios or simulations)

  • Confirm the most suitable structure and navigation for your learners

We’ll meet with you virtually to:

  • Present design recommendations and clarify any questions

  • Finalise your branding and template design

  • Confirm timeframes, milestones, and project stages

  • Answer any questions and align expectations

This step ensures that what we build reflects your organisation’s style, tone and training goals.

Step 3: Develop

  • Using your organisation’s branding, we’ll create a proposed design template that includes a sample of your eLearning content. This will be shared with you for review and approval before full development begins.
  • Once approved, our team will develop the eLearning module, incorporating interactive elements, visuals, and functionality as outlined in the design phase.

Step 4: Review

  • Fine-tune and perfect
We conduct two review stages to ensure accuracy and quality:

    • Initial Review: You and your team provide feedback via Articulate 360 Review.

    • Alpha Review: We update the module and send it back for final confirmation.

Step 5: Implement

  • Once the eLearning is finalised and you are happy with the end product, it is time to implement it with your target audience. The completed module will be provided for delivery to the target audience.
  • There is a maintenance period of 3 months for any minor changes based on feedback from the target audience. Any bugs identified will be reviewed following this maintenance period. After this, any further updates can be made based on an hourly fee.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to develop an eLearning course?

The development timeline can vary depending on the size, complexity, and level of interactivity required. However, for a standard module with typical content and design elements, the process usually takes around 4 to 6 weeks from initial planning to final delivery. More complex projects—such as those with high interactivity, animation, or custom features—may take longer.

Do you help with content writing and instructional design, or do we need to supply everything?

Yes, we offer flexible support depending on what you need:

  • If you already have a finalised storyboard, we can build the eLearning course directly from that.

  • If you have documents, policies, procedures, or PowerPoint slides, we can work collaboratively with you to transform these into an engaging course—providing structure, recommendations, and instructional design expertise.

  • If you’re starting from scratch or short on time, we can manage the full content writing and instructional design process for you, based on your learning objectives and subject matter.

You choose the level of involvement that works best for your team.
