There are many ways of improving productivity – such as writing a plan, prioritising, delegating, or even downloading productivity apps. But if you don’t fully understand why time management is important, and how to prioritise your work, you may not have the motivation to change.

Course Overview

This course is designed for team leaders, supervisors, managers, and team members and provides participants with all the tools they need to effectively manage workloads through understanding the importance of time management, prioritising what’s urgent and what is important, delegation, and effective planning. By mastering these skills, participants can enhance their efficiency, reduce stress, and create a more productive work environment for themselves and their teams.

Duration and Delivery

This course offers two options:

  • a full-day intensive (8 hours)
  • a half-day introduction (4 hours)

Both options are available either as face-to-face sessions for up to 18 participants or as virtual sessions for up to 9 participants.

Course Customisation

To ensure our training meets the specific needs of your organisation, our Instructional Design Team will facilitate a virtual meeting to customise and contextualise the content. This will include activities in line with your workplace procedures and practices, and develop suitable activities, scenarios, and workplace application strategies to ensure meaningful outcomes.

Course Inclusions

  • Workbook – a take-away workbook of content, activities and notes from the workshop
  • Customisation is included in the course cost

Optional Extra

We recommend an eLearning module be completed by participants prior to the workshop. This pre-learning will provide the underpinning knowledge for theorists and reflectors and allow the session to be more practical and application based (additional $59 pp).

Learning Outcomes

    • Use time management techniques to ensure your day is planned to allow you to keep control
    • Effectively delegate using the CPQQRT model
    • Find more time through intelligent prioritisation
    • Implement strategies to balance competing priorities and avoid burnout
    • Evaluate and optimise time allocation to achieve individual and organisational goals
