This course teaches team leaders,supervisors and managers how to use coaching methodologies to maximise performance by helping others reach their peak potential.

Course Overview

Effective coaching is about building the skills and knowledge of others, empowering them to succeed. Coaching includes sharing the right skills and knowledge and evaluating individual performance against the required standards. This course teaches team leaders,supervisors and managers how to use coaching methodologies to maximise performance by helping others reach their peak potential.

Duration and Delivery

This course offers two options:

  • Full-day intensive (8 hours)
  • Half-day introduction (4 hours)

 

Both options are available either as face-to-face sessions for up to 18 participants or as virtual sessions (half-day only) for up to 9 participants

Course Customisation

To ensure our training meets the specific needs of your organisation, our Instructional Design Team will facilitate a virtual meeting to customise and contextualise the content. This will include activities in line with your workplace procedures and practices, and develop suitable activities, scenarios, and workplace application strategies to ensure meaningful outcomes.

Course Inclusions

  • Workbook – a take-away workbook of content, activities and notes from the workshop
  • Customisation is included in the course cost

Optional Extra

We recommend an eLearning module be completed by participants prior to the workshop. This pre-learning will provide the underpinning knowledge for theorists and reflectors and allow the session to be more practical and application based (additional $59 pp).

Learning Outcomes

    • Understand the role and benefits of coaching to enhance individual and team performance
    • Develop effective coaching techniques, including active listening and asking ‘the right’ questions
    • Apply coaching strategies and models e.g. IGROW Model, STEER Model, 4 My’s, to support employees in setting and achieving meaningful goals
    • Provide constructive feedback and recognition to promote continuous improvement and motivation
    • Evaluate the impact of coaching on individual and team performance and adjust coaching approaches as needed
