The course equips leaders with practical strategies to integrate diversity into decision-making processes and daily behaviours. This integration not only enhances team cohesion but also contributes to a more equitable and successful organisational culture.
Course Overview
This course offers invaluable insights for team leaders, supervisors, and managers aiming to foster a workplace culture that celebrates cultural diversity and inclusion, raising awareness among participants about their own biases and assumptions. This encourages introspection and self-awareness and emphasises the significant strengths that cultural diversity brings to teams.
Participants will learn to recognise and leverage the teams strengths, which include varied perspectives, innovative ideas, and enhanced creativity. By harnessing these diverse perspectives, teams can achieve better outcomes, solve complex problems more effectively, and foster a more inclusive environment where every team member feels valued and respected.
Duration and Delivery
This course offers two options:
- a full-day (8 hours)
- a half-day (4 hours)
Both options are available either as face-to-face sessions for up to 18 participants or as virtual sessions for up to 9 participants.
Course Customisation
To ensure our training meets the specific needs of your organisation, our Instructional Design Team will facilitate a virtual meeting to customise and contextualise the content and activities in line with your workplace procedures and practices, and develop suitable activities, scenarios, and workplace application strategies to ensure meaningful outcomes.
Course Inclusions
- Workbook – a take-away workbook of content, activities and notes from the workshop
- Customisation is included in the course cost
Optional Extras
We recommend an eLearning module is completed by the participants prior to the workshop. This pre-learning will provide the underpinning knowledge for the theorists and reflectors and allow the session to be more practical and application based (additional $59 pp).
