Day 1 – Foundations of Effective Workplace Training
Day 1 introduces the principles that underpin effective workplace training and explores the role and responsibilities of the workplace trainer.
Participants examine learner-centred approaches, adult learning principles and different learning styles, including how their own preferred style can influence the way they train others. They also explore practical facilitation techniques that encourage participation and knowledge sharing.

Day 2 – Designing and Delivering Effective Workplace Training
Day 2 focuses on turning knowledge and experience into structured, practical workplace training.
Participants learn how to plan a training session, break complex skills into logical and teachable steps and distinguish between information learners need to know and information that is simply nice to know. Particular attention is given to identifying and reinforcing critical safety points when demonstrating workplace procedures.
Participants also explore practical demonstration and practice techniques that allow learners to progressively build knowledge, confidence and capability.

Day 3 – Coaching, Confirming Understanding and Supporting Performance
Day 3 develops the skills workplace trainers need to determine whether learning has been successfully transferred into workplace performance.
Participants learn practical techniques for confirming knowledge, observing hands-on performance and identifying when a learner can perform a task safely and consistently.
The day also focuses on coaching and feedback. Participants explore how to adapt their communication to different learners, provide constructive feedback, manage difficult conversations and support learners who may be struggling or resistant to learning.
