About this Project

NAWIC Australia partnered with Future Institute and MindTribes to co-develop online microaggression training for the construction industry, with the project funded by the Queensland Government.

Informed by NAWIC Australia’s research and consultation with construction professionals, the training was designed to address the microaggressions that negatively impact women and can contribute to high attrition or influence women’s choice not to work in the construction sector.

Working collaboratively with NAWIC Australia and MindTribes, Future Institute helped translate the research, specialist knowledge and subject matter expertise into engaging and accessible eLearning. The resulting training provides practical tools and strategies to help individuals and organisations recognise, respond to and prevent microaggressions in the workplace.

The Result
