About the Construction Training Fund (CTF)
The Construction Training Fund (CTF) supports the skills development of the WA construction workforce by subsidising training costs for eligible workers.
Key facts about the CTF:
- Funded through a 0.2% levy on all WA building projects valued over $20,000.
- Revenue is invested back into training programs to strengthen WA’s construction industry.
- Funding helps offset the cost of attracting, developing, and retaining skilled workers across residential, commercial, civil, and resource sector projects.
CTF Funding Available for Our Courses
Eligible participants can access CTF subsidies when enrolling in Future Institute’s leadership training:
- Perth Metro Subsidy:
- $31 per hour, up to $248 per 8-hour day, or
- 70% of the course cost, whichever is lower.
- Maximum claim: $1,300 per person per course.
- Regional Subsidy:
- $34 per hour, up to $272 per 8-hour day, or
- 80% of the course cost, whichever is lower.
- Maximum claim: $1,700 per person per course.
Important: Future Institute is not a bulk biller for CTF. Participants must lodge their funding claim directly with the Construction Training Fund upon course completion. Final approval for funding is at the discretion of CTF.
