Barry has worked as an independent business consultant within the SME markets, specializing in business consulting, brokering, valuations and business training.

He has worked extensively within the retail industry with a broad spectrum of National and International clients within Australian, South East Asia and the Middle East (Dubai).

An experienced Senior Manager who understands the commercial reality of achieving revenue targets and profit expectations across diverse business models, with a key understanding of the critical drivers across multiple markets within the FMCG businesses.

He brings to the business strong people management skills that are very much goal orientated with a high degree of practical experience in leading and motivating diverse teams coupled with my highly developed entrepreneurial and people management skills in arguably the most competitive markets in the world.

General Manager – Operations. Barrymore Pty Ltd, Perth, WA Privately owned company based in Fremantle Western Australia. The company employs over 100 staff and derives it income stream from a number of business models including International Wholesale, Wholesale Design, Product Development and Retailing. The group has over 15 company owned retail stores.

2000 – 2002 International Retail Manager. OPSM Group, Sydney, NSW
Reporting to the CEO and the board on the profit delivery of International Businesses, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and New Zealand – Key accountabilities for the sales and profit improvement via synergies created through the Hong Kong buying office for the international division. Group stores 125.

Shelley has been involved in the training industry since 2002. Shelley gained a broad spectrum of experience while operating a successful Perth-based Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and, since selling in 2013, Shelley has remained active in the industry – providing consultancy and training services to RTO’s.
